Aerospace Professional Staff Association (APSA)

Since 1974, APSA has represented the non-supervisory members of the technical staff at the Aerospace Corporation.  APSA is the national organization of the employees of The Aerospace Corporation, representing approximately 1,600 engineers and scientists in 11 states at 20 locations.

Association of Scientists and Professional Engineering Personnel (ASPEP)

ASPEP represents employees of Lockheed Martin and L-3 Communication Systems scientists and engineers in the Camden, Cherry Hill and Moorestown, New Jersey area.  ASPEP is a founding member of CESO dating back to 1969.

Communications Workers of America (CWA) - Local 1032

CWA Local 1032 represents about 6,000 workers in a variety of professions and fields in several New Jersey State Departments, the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey, several New Jersey towns and counties as well as several private sector work sites.

International Federation of Professional and Technical Engineers (IFPTE Local 12)

IFPTE Local 12 represents employees working at the Puget Sound Naval Shipyard and the Intermediate Maintenance Facility in Bremerton, Washington.  IFPTE Local 12 is a non-partison, pro-labor organization that protects employee benefits, rights, jobs, and provides a collective voice.

Michigan Public Employees- Service Employees International Union Local 517M (MPE-SEIU Local 517M)

The Michigan Public Employees/SEIU Local 517M is a full service, fast-growing, membership-driven union dedicated to providing excellent representation for public employees throughout the State of Michigan.  The Michigan Public Employees, SEIU Local 517M is a statewide union with over 10,000 public employee members in all 83 counties in Michigan.

SEIU (Service Employees International Union) is a 2 million member union with over 1 million public employee members. In 2000, SEIU became the largest International Union in North America and in 2008 SEIU became the first 2 million member union.

National Air Traffic Controllers Association (NATCA), AFL-CIO

NATCA represents about 1,300 national airspace system engineers and aerospace engineers who work for the United States Federal Aviation Administration (FAA).  The first engineering unit certified with NATCA in November 1997.  NATCA represents about 20,000 FAA workers.  NATCA Region 10 specifically represents all NATCA bargaining unit positions that do not control or otherwise separate aircraft.

University Professional & Technical Employees (UPTE) Union, CWA Local 9119, AFL-CIO

University Professional and Technical Employees, CWA 9119, is the union of technical and professional employees at the University of California. UPTE represents more than 12,000 University of California (UC) employees including scientists, engineers and valued workers at Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory, Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory, and Los Alamos National Laboratory. Specifically, UPTE embodies the Society of Professional Scientists and Engineers (SPSE) at Lawrence Livermore Laboratory.

UPTE was founded in 1990 by a group of employees who believed that UC workers would benefit by having a union to safeguard and expand their rights in the workplace. There are UPTE locals at all campuses and medical centers of the University of California. In 1993, UPTE members voted to affiliate with the Communications Workers of America (CWA), a 700,000 member union in the AFL-CIO, in order to better organize and represent UC workers.
